The EE-PoE-100XX Injectors and Splitters — provide power to AXIS network video products over existing Ethernet CAT-5 infrastructure, according to 802.3af PoE standards. PoE Midspans can be placed between a non-PoE switch and the PoE ready AXIS network video products. PoE Splitters can be used to pull power off the CAT-5 Ethernet cable into a pig-tail power connector for AXIS network video products lacking PoE support.
